Help Philadelphia Zoo Pick Name for Baby Orangutan
The Philadelphia Zoo is asking for your help in selecting a name for the zoo’s new baby orangutan.
The baby female orangutan was born October 2. The mother is 17-year-old Tua, who came to Philadelphia from Zoo Atlanta, and the father is Sugl, 13. Sugl was born at the Saint Louis Zoo.
Please choose one of the following three names chosen by the Zoo:
- Batu (islands off the coast of Sumatra)
- Kadoa (small gift); or
- Anoano (blessing).
Cast your vote before November 26 at Philadelphia Zoo.
