Baby killed in clothes dryer by Mother
A Louisiana baby was killed by the Mother, Lakeisha Adams, after placing him into a clothes dryer and turning the machine on.
A jury has convicted Lakeisha Adams of second-degree murder Saturday for the death of her 3-month-old son, Jailand in December 2005. The defense lawyer asked jurors to find her not guilty or not guilty by reason of insanity.
A coroner’s office report said the child suffered trauma to his head and second and third degree burns on half of his body.
Adams admitted putting the baby in the dryer and turning it on, with no explanation as to why said Police.
