Actor Tyrese Awarded Joint Custody of His Daughter
Tyrese and wife end the custody battle over their daughter.
A judge has awarded actor Tyrese Gibson and his estranged wife joint legal custody of their daughter Shayla, 19 months. Norma Mitchell-Gibson, Tyrese’s soon to be ex-wife, was awarded primary physical custody and will receive $6,222 a month from child support from the actor. According to the judge, the couple is only allowed to communicate using Our Family Wizard, which is a a third party entity that helps set up and organize meetings with divorced or separated families.
Tyrese filed for divorce from Norma in January, only ten months after the couple got married. Norma is claiming that Tyrese was never there for his daughter Shayla during the time they were married.
