Nicole Richie Will Have a Surprise Delivery

Despite the rumors that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden will be having a boy this time around, according to Joel, they do not know the sex of the baby.

Nicole Richie and her partner Joel Madden are enjoying the fact that they will have another surprise delivery. Joel told PEOPLE magazine, “We don’t know what the sex is. We waited on the first one and it was such an awesome experience that we can’t wait to see what the next one is. It’s exciting to wait it out.”

The musician also added that Nicole and him are a lot calmer and less stressed out with this pregnancy. It’s a lot easier,” Joel said. “You’ve already been through it and it’s not as intense and dramatic. We’re a little more relaxed. It’s actually kind of nice.”

Nicole is due is late summer/early fall with the couple’s second child. They have a 1-year-old daughter named Harlow.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden Buy a New Home For Their Expanding Family

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have dished out $1.9 million for a new home in the Hollywood Hills.

Nicole Richie, who is due to give birth to her second child later this summer, has apparently decided to buy a bigger home for her expanding family. Star Magazine reports that Joel Madden and Nicole Richie have spent $1.9 million on a new home located in Laurel Canyon in the Hollywood Hills area.

The home is newly renovated and will provide plenty of room for their daughter Harlow and the new baby. It measures 5400 square feet and has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a large living room. The gated house  also has a guest house out back with a pool.

The couple announced back in February that they were expecting baby number two, which is rumored to be a boy. Their daughter Harlow is 16 months old.

         

Nicole Richie Is a “Busy Mom”

After putting her daughter Harlow to sleep at night, Nicole gets to work designing jewelry, dresses, and other accessories for her line.

Even though Nicole Richie is pregnant with her second child, she doesn’t rest after putting her daughter Harlow to sleep at night. Nicole told PEOPLE at the event launch of her House of Harlow jewelry line in Miami Beach, that “I’m a busy mom, but there are 24 hours in the day, and I have a routine down so I can fit everything necessary into my life.”

Nicole’s jewelry line reflects her style as it is a mix of tribal, bohemian, and street-chic styles. Richie said, “I started designing jewelry two years ago and can’t believe how much I love it. That is why I am expanding into other fashion which I love. I get a lot done late at night.”

Nicole’s daughter Harlow is a year old and she is due with her second baby, rumored to be a boy, in late summer.

         

Nicole Richie Expecting a Boy

According to the reports, it will be a boy this time around for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

It appears that Nicole Richie and her partner Joel Madden are going to have the best of both worlds. They currently have a 16-month-old daughter, Harlow, and seem to be expecting a little boy in late summer/ early fall.

A friend of the couple told In Touch, “Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and — surprise, surprise — it’s blue.”

Another friend of the couple also said that Nicole refers to the baby as “he.” It was also revealed that, “she recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys from FAO Schwarz, and everything just happens to be blue.”

The couple has not made an official statement if they are expecting a boy or not as of right now.

         

Pregnant Nicole Richie Enjoys a Pilates Class

Mom-to-be Nicole Richie was seen attending a Pilates class in L.A. this week.

Pilates and yoga classes seem to be pretty popular with pregnant celebrities. Nicole Richie was seen attending a Pilates class in Los Angeles, before heading out to lunch with friends. The starlet was seen wearing black leggings and a white t-shirt which promptly displayed her growing baby bump.

Pilates and yoga are considered one of the best exercises for pregnant women, as they help to strengthen the pelvic region, which can make childbirth easier. It can also help with back pain during pregnancy and labor.

Nicole is due to give birth to her second child in September. She is already mommy to one-year-old Harlow.

         

Nicole Richie Feels “So Blessed”

Pregnant with her second child, Nicole Richie made an appearance on Live With Regis and Kelly and spoke about how, “all her dreams are coming true.”

Nicole Richie who is due with her second child in late summer, said on the Live With Regis and Kelly show that, “This is by far the best …the most exciting [time in my life]. I’m so happy and all my dreams are coming true. I feel so blessed.”

Nicole is already mom to 15-month old Harlow Winter Kate and just came out with a new jewelry line. She and her partner Joel Madden have been outspoken about how much they cherish their family.

The host of the show, Kelly Ripa was loving Nicole’s billowy maxi-dress and said that when she was pregnant all she had was overalls to chose from. Nicole replied, “I do wear overalls, actually. Not much has changed!”

         

Nicole Richie Turn’s Joel’s Home Office Into a “Big Girl’s Room”

Nicole kicked out Joel from his home office so she could make the room into a “big girl’s room” for her daughter Harlow.

It appears that Nicole Richie is giving her boyfriend Joel Madden the boot out of the house. The couple has been renting a house in Hollywood and with the new baby coming later this year, they are running out of space. Nicole has told Joel that his home office is now being turned into a “big girl’s room” for their 15-month-old daughter, Harlow.

According to a source, Nicole is planning on redoing Joel’s office in in “pink and frills.” She’s told him he either has to move to the garage or put his laptop in the kitchen!”

The source also goes on to say that Joel doesn’t like the idea, but is still “thrilled to death that they are expecting another baby.”

New mother Ashlee Simpson has been busy on her Twitter account today, twittering with her husband, then Nicole Richie, arranging play dates, and posting a picture of her baby son.

Ashlee posted a photo of her baby boy Bronx, along with the caption, “i present you my little man and his adorable cheeks!”

Handmedowns.com - Harlow Madden’s closet clean-out

Nicole Richie has embraced the site Handmedowns.com and offered Harlow Madden’s baby clothes for a charitable auction.

Nicole’s blog on MySpace announces that she is donating Harlow’s baby wear to a charity auction on Handmedowns.com.

“The proceeds will go directly to The Richie Madden Children’s Foundation to help bring more opportunities to children in the U.S. and abroad,” Nicole writes. “I have seen first-hand how many children lack the most basic items. I was so happy to clean out [Harlow's] closet and donate some of her hand-me-downs to this auction.”

Nicole Richie plans forthcoming maternity line

Nicole Richie, 27, has confirmed that her accessories business, House Of Harlow jewelery, is only part of her plan to entrepreneur in fashion.

The Simple Life star and daughter of Lionel Richie, who is mum to daughter Harlow and expecting again, is putting her media attention to full use. She was recently rumored to be carrying twins, though she has laughed this off.

“There will be a maternity line, a clothing line, shoes, belts everything.”

“I’m working a lot,” she says.
