Trial Begins for the Break In At the Home of the Surrogate Mother of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Twins

This week starts the trial for the alleged break in at the home of the surrogate mother of Sarah Jessica Parker’s twins by two Ohio police chiefs.

The police chiefs are accused of breaking into the home of Michelle Ross in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio and trying to sell her personal belongings to a freelance photographer.

After this incident happened earlier this year, Sarah Jessica, released a statement saying, “On a daily basis, on an hourly basis, I am greatly concerned for her health and safety and the safe delivery of our children.”

Martin’s Ferry Chief of Police Barry P. Carpenter, 40 faces the most charges with counts of burglary, receiving stolen properly and tampering with evidence. If convicted he could face up to 21 years in prison and a fine of $45,000.

According to the indictment, Bridgeport Police Chief Chad M. Dojack, 29, met with a freelance photographer offering him personal property of Ross’s which included information about the surrogacy and other items such as poem, photos, legal documents about the surrogacy agreement, pictures of ultrasounds, and a cell-phone picture of a belly cast.

The photographer alerted the surrogacy organization which in return reported it to the police. Dojack’s trial begins in January.

Sarah Jessica’s twin daughters were born on June 22 by Michelle Ross in East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio. The twins are the second and third child for Sarah Jessica and her husband Matthew Broderick.
