BBC Three are looking for babies, toddlers and children (aged from 0 – 14 years old) to take part. The documentary series will feature hand-picked teenage couples between the ages of 16 and 19 who feel ready for adult life. Over a short period of time, we’ll give them the opportunity to live independently from their parents and give them a taste of the responsibilities associated with adulthood.
The teens will be given the ultimate insight into what parenting is really like through an extended “babysitting” experience. This will involve caring for a baby or a child over a few days. As with all BBC productions, incredibly high standards are in place to ensure the safety of the child involved.
Our key aim is to help the teenagers involved make more informed decisions about their own future as well as educating a teen audience about the reality of parenting.
