actually,i_might_be_wrong_but__i_think_that_if_your_mum_is_a_registered_chi ldminder

even_though_she_is_family_because_she_is_registered_the_family_tax_will_pay _her

i_am_pretty_certain_of_it_because_i_was_going_to_become_a_registered_childm inder

and_look_after_my_mums_baby_when_she_went_back_to_work._please_check_that_out.

 i_think_the_average_fee_is_around_£2;50_per_hour.

 if_you_ask_haydenandkeiransmum,_she_is_a_childminder_so_she_will_know !

Hi, Although I don't use a childminder at moment I have been more than happy to pay £3ph in past as good reliable childminders are like gold dust I personaly think there wage is low for what they do. Katie V is right if you're mum is registard and you are on tax credits she can be payed as you're child minder. Hope this helps good luck to you're mum.

Hiya i'm a childminder and usually charge:

£3.50 per hr for a fulltime space

£4.00 per hr for a part time space (this is because even tho it is a part time space it also can take up a full time space as u may not be able to get another child to cover the free hours)

£3.00 to £4.00 per hr for an before and after school space and this includes the school run.

I also will arrange a sibbling discount normally £1.00 off the full paying price.

All these prices include meals and trips out.

Hope this helps hun?

You could also suggest to your mum that she advertises on www.childlink.gov.uk you can normally get on this by contacting the local early years department at the council.

There is also putting up posters in the local schools and toddler groups and she could also contact and join the NCMA (National Childminding Association) they tend to pass vaccancies round by word of mouth.

Goodluck xxx
