Katie Price Says She is Open to Adoption

Katie Price has made it clear that she would love to have a child now with her new husband Alex Reid but she also says she is open to adoption.

Katie says, “We’re trying for a baby at the moment but we’ll definitely adopt if we can’t have children together. Even if we can have kids naturally, adopting is still something I would like to do.”

Price also revealed that she is open to acting as a surrogate for her best friend Gary Cockerill. She notes, “I would definitely be a surrogate mum for Gary and Phil if they want to have children. They’re a big part of my life and I’d love to help them out in that way. But I do want to have children with Alex before I do that.”

Katie and Alex married in February of this year after her divorce to Peter Andre was finalized. Katie has three children already, Harvey, 8, Junior, 5, and Princes Tiammii, 3.

Diablo Cody Welcomes a Son

Screenwriter Diablo Cody announced the arrival of her son Marcello Danial Maurio.

Cody took to her Twitter account to announce the news as she tweeted, “We had our boy early this morning! Marcello Daniel Maurio, 7lbs, 2 oz, lightly mustachioed.

This is the first child for the couple who announced the pregnancy back in April. The couple married last summer.

         

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Rumored to Be Expecting First Child

After getting married earlier this month Orlando Bloom and  Miranda Kerr sparked rumors that the model was pregnant.

According to a new report from an inside source, Kerr is “definitely pregnant.”

She’s definitely pregnant… Miranda’s thrilled,” the source tells US magazine ”She’s telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it.”

The source says that most likely no official announcement will be made by the couple, but considering Kerr’s line of work of modeling lingerie it will become quite apparent in the next few months that she is indeed pregnant.

Miranda hasn’t hidden her desire to have children as she recently told an Australian newspaper, “I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day. And I’ve always thought Orlando would be a great dad!”

This would be the first child for both Orlando and Miranda.

         

Christina Applegate Reveals her Baby Bump on the Red Carpet

After having some difficulty trying to find something to wear on the red carpet, the actress shows off the first signs of her baby bump at the premiere of Cats and Dogs 2.

Before attending the premiere, Applegate took to her Twitter account to complain about her clothing options. She wrote, ”about to get ready for the Cats and Dogs dealio..All is well except that I don’t know how to dress this belly yet.So big black shirt it is.” The actress must have been having a hard time at home deciding on her clothing because earlier in the day she also tweeted, “Who are these women who can wear a short dress while pregnant? Seriously congrats ladies, cuz it aint gonna happen over here. Yikes!”

Christina ended up sporting a black tunic dress that she belted above her baby bump paired with black leggings. The outfit definitely revealed her growing baby bump.

Applegate announced last week that she and her finance Martyn Lenoble were expecting their first child.

         

Country Singer Josh Turner and Wife Expecting Third Child

Josh Turner revealed that him and his wife Jennifer will be welcoming child no. 3 early next year.

Apparently after going through two pregnancies with his wife Jennifer, Josh learned some telltale signs of Jennifer being pregnant. The country crooner reveals that after his wife started acting a “little different” he told her he thought she was pregnant and to take a pregnancy test.

Turner reveals, “She did and it was negative, but I refused to believe it. So when she took another and told me she’s pregnant, all I could say was, ‘I told you!’ and she was floored.”

“I come from big families – my momma was the oldest of three and my daddy was one of six – and I’ve always loved children,” says Josh, 32. “They bring a lot of joy to the world and they make us adults look at things in a better way. So it’s a natural thing for me and Jennifer.”

The singer revealed that him and his wife don’t have any plans on giving up their touring across the country. Jennifer actually plays keyboard and sings backup for Josh’s band and says that their two kids Hampton, 3, and Otis, 1, are already used to life on the road. One thing that they may have to look into is getting a “bigger bus,” says Josh.

Josh notes, “We get to see the whole world together and the boys are learning so much more than they would if they were just hanging around the house all day.”

         

Ali Larter Reveals Her Pregnancy Cravings

Actress Ali Larter just revealed that she was expecting her first child and now she dishes on her pregnancy cravings.

Ali, who is due in winter, says that she has been craving “cupcakes, pizza, and pasta,” this pregnancy. She reveals that she loves the fact that she doesn’t have to watch what she eats as carefully as she usually has to. She says, “I love it because so much of the time, I have to be careful. I work out. I play certain roles where it’s important for me to look a certain way. But now it’s just freedom. It’s like, bring on the Sprinkles cupcakes, pizza, pasta. I’m loving it!”

Ali and her husband Hayes Mac Arthur met back in 2004 and married last year. This will be the first child for both of them.

         

Bryce Dallas Howard Talks About Her Post Natal Depression

Actress Bryce Dallas Howard has joined other actresses like Gwyneth Paltrow and Brooke Shields and opens up about her post natal depression.

Bryce put on a fake happy face when she gave birth to her son Theodore Norman, now 3 years old. She pretended that everything was fine on the outside but she was suffering on the inside.

The actress reveals that she had planned for a home birth but due to medical complications had to go to the hospital. She says, “Mostly I recall the moment someone handed my son to me, and I heard shouts of joy, and my father crying, “Bryce, you’re an incredible mother!” She adds, “And then… Nothing. I felt nothing… Someone encouraged me to sit up, and slowly, one by one, friends and family visited. Some were crying, others bursting with joy. Glassy-eyed, I politely listened to their impressions of our new son. I had no impression of my own.”

Bryce revealed her struggle with post natal depression in Paltrow’s newsletter GOOP after Gwyneth talked about her struggle with depression after giving birth to her son Moses.

Howard, who found out she was pregnant only a week after marrying her husband Seth Gabel, goes on to talk about how painful breastfeeding was and how she referred to her son Theo as ‘it.”

She says, “I definitely felt I was a rotten mother-not a bad one, a rotten one. Because the truth was, every time I looked at my son, I wanted to disappear.”

Bryce was diagnosed  with severe post natal depression by a therapist and sought out the book Down Came the Rain by Brooke Shields. She recalls the book being a “revelation” and slowly she became to come out the depression.

Nowadays, Howard talks about how overjoyed she is with her son and how women must not be afraid to ask for help.

         

Billie Piper Speaks Out Against Photos of Her Smoking Around Her Son

After photographs of actress Billie Piper smoking right in front of her son, Winston, 21 months, infuriated many anti-smokers and parents, a rep for the actress speaks out about the photos.

This past week photos were posted online of Piper smoking outside at a pub garden in London with her toddler son standing nearby. In the photos it appeared that the little boy was actually in the cloud of cigarette smoke coming from Billie’s mouth. But now Billie is speaking out about the photos and the ‘truth” about them.

A rep for Billie says, “Billie is a responsible parent who values her child’s health above all else. Though a smoker, she is careful to only do so outside and with consideration to those around her. Due to the angle from which it is taken, the picture is misleading. It does not give a true sense of perspective in relation to the proximity of her son.”

Winston is the only child for Billie and her husband Laurence Fox.

         

Carly Cole Lands 4 Month Old Daughter First Modeling Job

At only four months old, Ruby Cole, who is daughter to Carly and Joe Cole has landed her first modeling gig.

Ruby has become the new face of Huggies Little Swimmers, which are disposable nappies made specifically for swimming. In the ad Ruby is being held by her mother Carly.

The ad is being promoted with Big Splash Pool Parties to help encourage mothers to swim more during and after pregnancy. Carly is an avid swimmer and contributes swimming during and after her pregnancy to her being able to lose the baby weight so quickly.

Carly revealed, “I’ve always been a keen swimmer, since I was a baby myself, and it’s been great being able to share the experience with Ruby. Whilst I was pregnant I wanted to keep exercising, so I swam two or three times per week.” She adds, “‘And now that I’ve had Ruby, it’s still something I do….It’s helped strengthen the bond between us.”

Ruby is the first child for Carly and Joe.

         

Country Singer Dierks Bentley and Wife Expecting Second Child

Country crooner Dierks Bentley and hiw wife Cassidy revealed that they are expecting their second child later this year.

Dierks revealed, “We’re so excited that our daughter Evie [21 months] is going to get a baby sister or brother for Christmas.”

The baby is due around the holiday season.

Apparently Evie is all ready to become a big sister. The singer says, “She’s pretty obsessed with a baby doll she carries around now … We’ll see how she does with the real thing!”
