Our 21 Week scan Tuesday 26th June was our 21 week scan of our miracle baby and it was fantastic. I was so happy that I didn't need to drink as much this time as I did on our earlier scan, though it still hurt when the scanner went over my stomach! As soon as we went into the scanning room, my nerves heightened. I was so worried that something would be wrong, though everything was said to be absolutely fine. We were hoping for a little girl (although it didnt really matter) and we were pleasently surprised and excited when the woman said its 90% sure it is a little girl! I cried with happiness that everything was ok and even Mick, my husband, had a tear. My mum was in the room with us too and seemed emotional which was all just brilliant! She waved at us in the scan and it was so weird when i felt her kick and saw her kick at the same time - nothing beats that memory! We were very lucky in having 5 scan pictures and all for free, which surprised me. We also had our doctors checkup the following day and everything was ok with that, though I may have protein in my urine, though the doctor said that is nothing to worry about. W also heard the heartbeat again, and this time, she found it straight away! We are 90% sure that the name will be Aimee, though I have said to my husband that I may change that! I love the name, though (and i know it sounds silly) but I dont feel ready to settle on a name yet. Weird I know lol
