BBC1 - Whistleblowers - Suprmarkets

I am *so* glad I don't eat meat..

Watching the Whistleblowers programme on BBC1 is making me feel really queasy!

For those who didn't see it its an undercover expose of Tesco's and Sainsburies and how some of their staff sell meat which is over its sell by date, faked temperature records, resold food that had "thawed" then "refrozen" or turned dodgy looking steak into mince rather than thrown away or "guessing of dates"

Also using knifes for meat counter to fish counter or using a knife sharpener to life up a drain etc.!!

Both supermarkets have gone on the heavy "denial" route, which is quite crappy as seeing some of the things i've just seen makes me so angry!

Its not cutting corners to "make money" its taking risks with peoples lives!!!!
