jake has been going cross eyed since he was born at first this was fine as it is normal for a new born to do this when looking at thing but jake still does this and over the last month or so he he has started to do this most of the time. so i took him to the opticians on sat and they told me he is long sighted and will have to wear glasses at some point. he goes cross eyed when he is trying harder to see something that is close to him.

we are now waiting for a appointment at the eye clinic so they can do more tests and tell us abit more.

i know wearing glasses is not a big deal but im worried about how it could affect other areas of his development and i know how means some children can be. maybe im just being silly.

does anyone know of any imformation about this.

thanks

aw bless he'll be fine and to be honest it seems that wearing glasses is a fashionable thing these days, my sister maisie has to wear them and all her mates want some too and she is 11 at the age where young girls are starting to become aware of fashion and looking good!
