Singer Lily Allen revealed that her miscarriage was the “worst time of my life.”
After becoming pregnant almost two years by her then boyfriend, Chemical Brothers Ed Simons, and subsequently having a miscarriage Lilly says that she couldn’t deal with it for a long time.
“I just didn’t deal with it at all. I didn’t even start beginning to deal with it until the baby’s due date. Then it just hit me like a house collapsing,” Lily says.
What added to Lily’s devastation was that she had already announced to the public that she was pregnant and had to put out a press release stating she had a miscarriage
The singer admits that it was therapy that helped her the most to move on. She says, “I have therapy on and off, but at that time it really helped. Then I started to deal with and move on.”
Lily, who is now dating Sam Cooper says that she still wants babies and thinks about children often. She told Vice magazine, “I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, and that’s my goal really.”
