Rod Stewart Hoping to Have One More Kid and Then He’s Done

Singer Rod Stewart, who currently has 7 kids, says that he and his wife Penny Lancaster are trying to have one more and then eight is enough for him.

Could Rod Stewart be the next ‘octodad?” Stewart told GMTV “Yes, we’re trying – we actually tried last night,” when asked if there were anymore children in the works for him and his wife Penny Lancaster.

Although he says he wants one more and then he’s done, Rod is enjoying the time has has with his children. He told GMTV that he was trying to teach his son Alistair (4 nect month) to play football.

“He’s just a sweet kid at the moment,” he said. “I did take him out on the football field the other day. He put all his Celtic stuff on, I said, ‘Come on, let’s get running out there,’ and he went, ‘Oh, there’s some flowers for Mummy – must collect them.’” He added, “He spent about two hours collecting flowers in a basket for his mum!”

Alistair is Rod’s only child with Penny. His other older children are from previous relationships.
