Nicole Kidman Says Post Baby Body Helped Land Her the Role In Nine

Nicole Kidman jokes that it was her fuller breasts from pregnancy and breastfeeding her daughter that she was able to land the role in Nine.

Nicole Kidman talks about one big perk of pregnancy for her in the latest issue of Ladies Home Journal. She says that having bigger boobs was a definite plus with her when it came to her pregnancy.

“They’re not very big, my boobs, so they just became normal size. I loved it!” She added, “I felt very Woman. When you’ve had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling.”

Kidman even jokes that it was her post-baby curves that landed her the role in the upcoming musical Nine. “[I had] big boobs because I was breast feeding – I was perfect for it,” she says.

Nicole hadn’t planned on returning to work so early after having her daughter Sunday Rose, but she says that she could not resist the temptation of the movie, which co-stars Daniel day-Lewis and Penelope Cruz and is directed by Rob Marshall.

“I was not looking to go back to work. I went back to work because this was … the perfect kind of scenario,” she tells ET Canada of Nine. “Part of me was nervous about going back to work … but they said I could bring my baby to the set, and Rob didn’t seem to find that a problem at all, so then I was like ‘Uh, this is heaven.’ ”

Sunday Rose is the first biological child for Nicole Kidman and her husband keith urban. She has two adopted children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
