Mel Gibson’s baby girl makes him, “Octopop”

mel_gibson_oksana_grigorieva Oksana Grigorieva has given birth to a healthy baby girl.

Grigorieva, has given birth a few weeks before her due date. However, mom and daughter are healthy and recovering at home.

This is Mel Gibson’s eighth child, earning him the title of “Octopop”. It’s also the second child for Grigorieva, 39, who has a 12-year-old son by actor Timothy Dalton, (Of James Bond Fame).

Gibson, 53, is currently embroiled in a divorce with ex Robyn, who looks set to be awarded half of the actor’s £640million fortune.

Initially the relationship was made public in April at the Hollywood premiere of, “X Men Origins: Wolverine,” days after his estranged wife filed the divorce papers.

Last month the singer dismissed marriage rumours saying the couple had ‘no plans to marry whatsoever’.

She continued: ‘I haven’t thought about it.”

The Russian brunette has also been busy with her music career.

Since signing with Gibson’s record label she has recorded an album called Beautiful Heartache.

Recently Oksana Grigorieva is reported to have turned down a prenuptial contract with Mel - $5 million a year for up to 10 years. Gibson’s generous offer was apparantly refused, saying, she wants “all or nothing,” which is putting the marriage on ice.
