Mel Gibson, “Octopop”: Rep reveals baby name

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have named their baby Lucia.
Mel Gibson, has named his new baby daughter Lucia, meaning, “Light”. It’s a particularly popular name in Scandinavian countries because they receive so little sunlight in the winter months.
Mel Gibson’s representative confirmed: “Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson welcomed the arrival of a baby girl named Lucia on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.”
A source said: “Everyone sang ‘For He’s A Jolly Good Fellow’ and he blushed.”
Although this is their first child together, both Mel and Oksana, 39, are already parents.
Mel Gibson’s eighth child has earned him the tabloid name of, “Octopop”. The star has six sons and a daughter with former wife Robyn, who filed for divorce in April this year after 28 years of marriage and is expected to receive half of his fortune. Oskana Grigorieva has a 12-year-old son Alexander with actor Timothy Dalton, (Of James Bond fame).
A friend of Mel’s added: “Everything is great! They couldn’t be happier. Everyone’s healthy and thrilled. He loves it!”
