Joy Enriquez and Rodney Jerkins Welcome a Daughter

Singer/actress Joy Enriquez and her husband music producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins welcome their second child, a daughter, last week.
Heavenly Joy Jerkins was born Nov. 17 at 9:58 a.m. at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. She weighed in at 8lbs.
She joins her big brother Rodney David Jr., 18 months at home.
“We never find out the sex of our babies,” Jerkins, 32, says. “It helps Joy push them out better because she wants to know what it is so bad!”
When it comes to their little girl’s name, the couple considered using that name with their first child. When we found out we were pregnant, Joy said, ‘This is heavenly,’ ” says Jerkins “I said, ‘Hey, there’s a name … Heavenly!’ ”
Joy and Rodney have been married since April 2004.
