GMTV weather girl Clare Nasir, 39, is delighted to announce the birth of her baby girl, named Sienna.
Clare Nasir gave birth to baby Sienna Clare Nasir Hawkins yesterday morning at 9.42am. Sienna, Weighing 4lb 1oz, is in the special baby care unit of a London hospital.
The pregnancy was dubbed a miracle because Clare - who has been GMTV’s weather producer and presenter since 2000 - was diagnosed with fibroid growths in her uterus in 2001, which threatened her fertility.
Clare said: “Chris and I are overjoyed,”
“Sienna was born 7 weeks premature and will be in the unit for a few weeks while Doctors monitor her progress. She`s just beautiful and has her father`s good looks!”
“It was an incredibly hard pregnancy,” she continued. “And we are so happy that our miracle baby is here.”
Clare is married to BBC radio DJ Chris Hawkins.
