Former Steps Singer Lisa Scott-Lee Introduces Her Daughter Star Lily

The former Steps singer, Lisa Scott-Lee showed off pictures of her 2-month old daughter Star Lily and talks about having two children now in Hello! Magazine.

Lisa is now a proud mum of two since giving birth to her daughter Star Lily in September. Lisa and her husband Johnny Shentall also have a 20-month-old son named Jaden.

Lisa says that they have had the name “Star Lily” since they married five years ago. She told Hello!, “Star Lily was our wedding flower. And I love the film Lost Boys, which has a character called Star.”

She adds, “Johnny took a bit of convincing on the name, because I know it’s a bit out there. But people do expect celebrities to be a bit creative with their names, so I took full advantage of that!”

Lisa was so excited about having a girl that she went shopping for girl baby clothes the day after she gave birth to her daughter. “Johnny was like, ‘You’re joking, you’ve just had a baby,”‘ she says. “And I said, ‘No, I’ve waited five years for my princess.’”

Star was born on September September 24th, which was 12 days before Lisa’s due date.

Lisa says that she had a “lovely” water birth. “It was lovely, actually. I didn’t have any drugs because I was happy in the water, and the whole thing took about three hours. I don’t know if it’s a control thing - because I do like to be in control - but I wanted to be aware of the birth and remember it.”
Although everything went smoothly with the pregnancy and birth, Lisa admitted that she was worried about how her son Jaden would react to a sibling. “I don’t think Johnny will mind if I say that Jaden is a mummy’s boy, we’ve always had a lovely bond - and I was pretty apprehensive when Star was born because I thought he’s not going to have all that time with me,” she said.

She added, “So for the first two days I was on cloud nine but wracked with guilt about Jaden, but it’s settled down and he’s adapted wonderfully.”
