The Sun reports that Steve McFadden, the EastEnders star is spending every spare moment at the bedside of his 4-month-old daughter Amelie Tinkerbell.
Amelie was rushed to hospital suffering from bronchilitis, which causes respiratory distress.
The EastEnders star has been at her bedside since she was diagnosed at London’s Whittington Hospital on Tuesday, reports The Sun. The baby is said to be “very sick” and is being fed through a tube.
Dr. Rachel Sidwell, Amelie’s mother, stated: “It’s extremely worrying. Amelie is very ill and I’m devastated. I just want her to get better.”
McFadden and married doctor Sidwell reportedly met on a school-run and welcomed their first child together in June. However, they split just two months later and Sidwell is understood to have returned to her surgeon husband James Green.
McFadden also has a son Matthew, born in 1986 as a result of the relationship between McFadden and his first love, Sue Marshall.
