Denise Van Outen - Extremely Excited About Pregnancy as She Volunteers Her Time for Mothers4Children

The West End star Denise Van Outen looks forward to the upcoming months of pregnancy and is taking an active role in her pregnancy.

Denise gave back to charity as she manned a car-boot sale at Selfridges for Mothers4children. She recently announced that she was 14 weeks pregnant with her first child and talked about how excited she was.

“It’s like I’ve been waiting my whole life to be pregnant,” says Denise, 35.

She went on to say, “I’m doing and checking all the things that I’ve always thought were necessary. For instance, I sit down a lot on the assumption my ankles are swollen, but they’re not. I’m overfeeding myself all the most sugary items from the cupboard, despite not yet having any cravings for them. I’ve also already been on the lookout for big pavlova-type clothes, though I can still fit into my looser items at home.”

“It’s all a bit of an experience. Jokes aside, I’m extremely excited about the months ahead and I’m looking forward - for the first time in my life - to looking fat for a real reason,” Denise added.

Denise married Lee Mead in April. This is the first child for both of them.
