Coronation Street Couple Split: Tina O’Brien and Ryan Thomas

Tina O’Brien, 26, and Ryan Thomas, 25, have split following a fiery relationship. Their baby Scarlett is just 13-months-old.

The ex-couple met when they played on-screen lovers, hairdresser Sarah-Louise Platt and builder Jason Grimshaw, on the ITV soap Coronation Street for six years.

Tina is reported to have moved out of their home in Cheshire, with their daughter and changed her relationship status on Facebook to ’single’.

It is also claimed their was an alleged infidelity.

Tina and Ryan began dating in 2003, moving in together in 2006. But since their daughter’s birth last October, relations between the pair are said to have soured.

They are best known for their stormy on-off relationship on Coronation Street which mirrors their real-life trauma.

Tina is due to return to the soap next year after a two-year break as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.

A source said in the Daily Mail: “Their on-screen relationship and their off-set one isn’t much different.

“They bicker and shout. It’s a terrible end to their relationship.’

24 hours before the news of the split, which will leaves fan’s shocked, Ryan was questioned by police for allegedly crashing his car in Manchester and then fleeing the scene, leaving a friend behind.

Ryan is said to have ploughed his Chrysler into a lamp-post at 4am a week ago, and then left his pal there as he made a quick exit.

But on Friday the star voluntarily went to a police station in Manchester. He was not charged or arrested but will be questioned again.

This happened after another recent incident where he was clocked speeding at 110m.p.h; he was fined and banned from driving for 21 days.
