Madonna and Her Children Visit Malawi Orphanage

Madonna and three of her children were spotted visiting the orphanage that she adopted her son David from.

The pop singer along with her daughter Lourdes,13, David,4, and Mercy,3 (Rocco,9, was not spotted) were spotted in Malawi visiting the orphanage that Madonna first spotted David in. The singer adopted David back in 2006 after visiting the Mphandu la Orphanage.

The director for the center told US, “It was an emotional moment,” and that Madonna even broke down crying. “David is too young to understand . . . but for us who remember the sickly tiny little baby of 2006, it was hard to hold back tears, including Madonna.”

The orphanage founder added, “He is so boisterous! I can’t believe he is the same chap of 2006.”

Madonna is in Malawi with her children after starting the groundbreaking ceremony for her nee girl’s academy that she is building for the country.

Both David and Mercy were adopted from Malawi.
