Michael Jackson’s Mother Wins Temporary Custody Of His Children
Michael Jackson’s mother has won temporary custody of all of his children.
Katherine Jackson filed papers to look after his three children, Prince Michael (12), Paris Michael (11) and Prince Michael II (7). They will remain with the Jackson family until the court hearing on August 3.
Londell McMillan, the Jackson’s lawyer, said that the mother of the two elder children, Deborah Rowe, has not contacted the family. The youngest child, known as Blanket, was born via an anonymous surrogate mother.
The Jackson family live in the San Fernando Valley in north-west Los Angeles.
“Minor children are currently residing with paternal grandmother,” said the filing.
“They have a long established relationship with paternal grandmother and are comfortable in her care.”
She has also filed papers to take control of Michael Jackson’s estate. It is unknown whether Michael Jackson left a will.
