Kate Garraway “Ecstatic” Over Clare Nasir’s Pregnancy

The GMTV presenter Kate Garraway has admitted that she felt guilty telling Clare that she was expecting when she knew that Clare was going through IVF treatments.

GMTV presenter Kate Garraway, who is due to give birth to her second child anytime now, has said that she felt guilty over announcing her pregnancy when she knew a co-worker and friend was going through IVF treatments. Clare Nasir, who is the weather girl for GMTV has had fertility issues in the past and was going through IVF treatments when Garraway first got pregnant.

Kate said, “I found it quite difficult when I fell pregnant this last time because it’s really hard telling someone who has been trying for so long that you are expecting a baby. She really isn’t the kind of person who would hold it against you, but I did feel very guilty and am so glad we can be pregnant together now.”

But, now Clare has announced that she is pregnant and expecting a baby due on New Years Eve.

Kate says that she is “ecstatic” over Clare’s pregnancy. “It is such a heartbreaking process for any couple and I’m over the moon that it’s worked for them,’ said Kate. “Clare is one of the most lovely and maternal people you could ever hope to meet and was born to be a mum.”
