Woman Discovers Baby For Sale On Craigslist - Hoax Done By a Teen

An ad on Craigslist in Las Vegas listed “baby for sale.”

A woman was shopping for bargains on Craigslist and what she found was shocking. Under the general listing for Las Vegas there was an ad “baby for sale.” The woman clicked on the thinking it was going to be baby items or clothes, but that doesn’t appear to be what was being sold.

The ad read, “”I can’t handle her no more. She comes with clothes, diapers, formula, and a car seat.” The ad was asking for $200 for the sale of the baby. The woman who found the ad, flagged the post and called the authorities.

The women who found it said:

“It was very sad. Immediately when I found out it was a real child, I was overwhelmed. I saw a sign that said baby girl, $200 at (Desert Inn) and Boulder, which is close to us. I have a friend who just had a baby so I click on it, assuming it was baby clothing, and saw it was an actual picture of a child that a woman was trying to sell for $200. So I got my husband and panicked. We called 911…because I wanted to get it off before somebody really called it and did something with it.

The ad was removed within 10 minutes and an investigation was launched. The results of the investigation showed that a teenager who was bored decided to post the ad. There is no word yet if the teen will face any charges.
