Iiamo Go Bottle that heats milk itself
Iiamo.com has invented the first ever baby’s bottle which heats milk up itself.
Disposable ‘heating’ cartridges mean the, “Iiamo Go bottle” can warm fresh milk and powdered milk formula to body temperature, in only four minutes.
Cartridges, which can’t be reused, contain salt and water that, when mixed together at the flick of a switch, provide enough energy to heat the contents of the 180ml bottle.
Danish makers of Iiamo say the ground-breaking design takes the stress out of feeding your baby when away from home.
Nikolaj Leonhard-Hjorth, from Iiamo, said in an interview to the Daily Mail: “The company directors are both parents and they know about the difficulties of trying to bottle feed babies when not at home.
“It was important for us to find a way to let parents bottle feed while allowing them to be flexible and mobile to do other things at the same time.
“And this bottle means parents no longer have to worry about where and how they are going to feed their baby.”
Following its success in Denmark, Iiamo now has plans to launch the bottle, which will be priced at around £20, in the UK.
