Baby Food Diet Making a Worrying Comeback
Hollywood is a proponent of excessive regimes, giving women and men unrealistic and often unattainable images to aspire towards. The baby food diet appears to be making a worrying come back.
Marcia Cross and Jennifer Aniston reportedly swear by baby food. A recent article by The Examiner suggests:
“Baby food is obviously safe and for now it is keeping the weight off.
“Baby food though does have lots of vitamins. It has no fillers and is easy to digest. You can get a lot of variety because it seems the kinds of baby food on the shelves is endless. You can take it with you and tell people that is is a smoothie!”
What the article fails to warn it’s readers is that it’s not healthy in the long run. Adults need to chew food otherwise their teeth will eventually fall out. Adults needs pressure to work the bone of the teeth otherwise they become loose.
Hospitals patients are put on a liquid diet in order to put weight on. A Complan diet is high protein and high carbohydrate. Baby food puts weight on babies so the idea that somehow there’s any benefit other than portion control is a complete myth and could be damaging in the long term.
