Samia Smith Adds To The List of Coronation Street Babies
Samia Smith reveals that she is pregnant with her first child.
Coronation Street actress Samia Smith revealed she and her husband Matt Smith are expecting their first child. Smith is still in mourning as her father died from cancer last week, but she told The Sun, “I am so pleased that we were able to tell my dad about the baby before he died.”
Having a baby bump is nothing new for Smith, as currently her character on Coronation Street is pregnant. She says, ” I have been pregnant on screen for the best part of the past two years and as soon as I get rid of the fake baby bump I will have a real one.”
There seems to be something in the water on the set of Coronation Street, as Samia joins nine other actors or actresses on the show that have recently welcomed a child or are currently pregnant.
Baby on the way is due in October.
