Actor Taye Diggs Expecting First Child
The Private Practice actor is expecting a baby with his wife, Broadway star, Idina Menzel.
Taye Diggs and his wife Idina Menzel have been open about wanting a family soon and now they get that chance. They are expecting their first child later this year.
The couple met 13 years ago when they starred in the production of Rent on Broadway. They have been married for 6 years.
Last year, Idina talked about having a family soon, saying that after she finished her third album she would ”settle down and start popping out some babies.”
She also said that Taye was ready for kids “the day I met him. He’s always wanted kids. He grew up with four younger brothers and sisters, so he’s very comfortable around children.”
No word on the exact due date of the baby or if they know the sex yet.
