Carla Bruni Would Love Another Child
The first lady of France considers adoption for another child.
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy says that she would love to have a child with her husband Nicolas Sarkozy, any way possible. She tells Le Figero magazine that “I would like [to have a biological child], but I don’t know if at my age it would be possible. If it’s not biologically possible, I’ll adopt one.”
She also goes on to say that you can “build a powerful bond” even when you adopt a child. You don’t have to have a biological child to form a bond with your child.
She says that at 41 years old she is definitely keeping her options open. She was quoted as saying, “So I’d love to have a child, but I’m not going to fight against nature, and at the same time, as I already have one, and my husband has three, you can’t really say we have a need of children.”
Carla is already mom to Aurélien Enthoven, 7, her son from her previous marriage. Her husband Nicolas has 3 children from his previous marriages.
